The study of human multisensory, especially audiovisual perception, has obtained increased attention with the development of virtual reality systems, teleconferencing, computer games and home theater systems. The basic research of cognitive technology involve the study of neurocognitive mechanisms of human perception that is still at an infant level and many new issues are to be found. At LCE we are constructing an audiovisual psychophysiological laboratory, which involves both visual and auditory 3-D modeling. This presentation concentrates on the latter, on spatial hearing and its modeling, i.e., 3-D sound.
